Our Story

JDD & Co opened its doors in June 2025 as a natural extension of Jillian Douglas Design, the Toronto-based interior design firm founded by Jillian Douglas.

After years of sourcing furniture, decor, and distinctive vintage pieces for residential projects across the city, the idea for JDD & Co was born through conversations behind the scenes of the design studio. With Clarke Douglas, who runs the business and operational side of Jillian Douglas Design—and is Jillian’s husband—the two recognized an opportunity to bring the studio’s thoughtful curation to a wider audience. JDD & Co was created as a place where design lovers—clients and newcomers alike—could experience the pieces that define the studio’s approach: timeless silhouettes, collected character, and a balance of old and new.

The collection at JDD & Co is intentionally curated and ever-evolving. From decor pieces and one-of-a-kind vintage finds to furniture, candles, and collected objects, each item is selected for its craftsmanship, patina, and ability to bring warmth and depth to a space. These are pieces meant to be layered, lived with, and enjoyed over time.
